Bangkok Cafe in Davie

Been going here for years and they never disappoint. Food is delicious, prices are very reasonable and the owner/staff are always friendly.

The food is really good but as for the service, it's not the best. It took a while for them to come back and refill my water. Also, we did not get napkins. We had to flag a server down. But I guess the food and the price of the food is worth it. My Mom loves this place, so that's why we keep coming back.

This spot is fantastic! Reasonable pricing, considerable portions and the employees are always kind.

I've been eating here for many years. Superb service and food. Don't get more than 3 stars if you can't handle heat. It will burn you twice.

Not my first or second choice for thai food in the area. The dishes are a little lame in flavor...I live close to the restaurant and eveytime I have gone back, I remember why I don't go more often. I usually leave feeling like I could have spend my money much better in a different place. The service and the people are very nice thou...maybe that is why I have gone back sometimes.

Had Panang curry for take out. Food was tasteless. Worst Thai restaurant I've ever had food from.

I love this place, the food is great love their spicy fried rice, i will admit the service many times is not the greatest. But last time i orderd pick up i got into an accident on the way and they actually waited about an hour for me to pick up the food with no complains so i guess service is really not bad. Shoot me myself would have closed down and gone home haha.

Met my best friend for lunch here recently and thoroughly enjoyed cashew chicken and fried rice with a nice salad and soup for a great price. My wife and I have eaten here numerous times and have never left disappointed. One of our favorites is the whole red snapper and the pork or special fried rice. One of my favorite lunch and dinner spots in Davie.

I don't mind this place. It's not the best Thai food I've had nor is it the worst. I also don't come here frequently. I've probably been here 3 times in the past two years. I recommend getting a dish with the panang curry. The one time I tried seafood cooked in the red curry, the dish was ridiculously bland. So I've decided to stick with the panang whenever I come here. The service is decent. I haven't experienced any rudeness or any upsetting behavior from the waitresses. They've been cordial and attentive the few times I've come here.

This is probably my favorite place to eat. We come here or order takeout from here all of the time. The service is great and the food is delicious. Everyone that works here is always very friendly.The appetizers are corn chips with dipping sauce. The stir fried cashew chicken is great. It comes with mixed vegetables and white rice on the side. The meal is always very filling.My wife likes the red curry and the bean thread pad Thai.

I've been coming to this delicious Bangkok cafe for 25 years. I am a Thai food connoisseur and from South, to central no North FL, their menu is the best! It may have changed ownership over the years, but the curries remain delicious! creamy with peanuts if massaman, red if curry ( I only choose 1 star for spice), their new grob appetizer has several shrimp and white of chicken with real, sweet, tamarind sauce. I've tried everything on the menu, but, I don't love noodles although their sauteed meals are savory..yumm!! So, prices are affordable and one can share easily..portions require a hearty appetite. The portions are NOT small..I always take to go, if not sharing. Very important: restrooms are clean. Boxes of Thai products on way to the restroom give this place an authentic feel. Try it, you will like if not LOVE it.

The staff is very helpful and the food is cooked to ordered and so delicious Very family oriented and quite where you can have a conversation.

Rude people and bad quality foods

The Bangkok cafe is my favorite thai restaurant in Davie area. We love Pad Thai and Chicken Red Curry with the bamboo shoots from this restaurant. We absolutely come back again.

Just threw out $35.00 of food and will never go back again. The vegetable fried rice was completely rotten and smelled rancid. The smell was making me gag. Needless to say I had to throw out the cashew chicken because I wasn’t taking a chance after the fried rice.I will never go back

Absolutely delicious food every time. We’ve tried a few items on the menu and have never been disappointed. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Best Thai restaurant around the area. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to all my friends.

Great Thai Food. Bangkok Cafe is an amazing place to take family, friends, collegues, just about anyone. Everyone I have taken there comes back loving it and take their family. My family and I have gone religiously for the past year almost and never get tired of the amazing food. I recomend the pad Thai and the Mekgrob. Seriously good food!

This use to be one of my favorite places for Thai food in Broward County. I use to really enjoy the red curry with bamboo shoots, the sauce was so tasty. The sizzling platter, with seafood or chicken is not bad, but not as good as it use to be. It still sizzles coming out of the kitchen, but it is ok, not great. The service here is consistently good, everyone is very nice, and the food comes pretty quick. I wonder if there was a change in ownership or chefs, or if it was just an off night, but all 4 of us were disappointed. We have been coming to this location for nearly 30 years, so I will probably try it one more time

Had the Shrimp Pad Thai with level 4 spice and it was delicious! Also tried their Thai Iced Tea with milk..YUM! Cant wait to go back. Very chill vibe and great customer service

Best ginger salad dressing I've ever had. Lunch is a pretty good deal- entree under $10 that comes with a salad, a soup and a small eggroll. I strongly recommend this place.

We arrived at this spot for lunch. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. The staff were extremely nice and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We loved this place a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Delicious pad Thai with fresh veggies. I asked for medium spice and it was extremely hot, so keep that in mind when ordering. I’ll try mild next time. PS: I like spice.

Used to love this place as a kid so I was very excited to come here. Got the chicken lunch special I got the garlic and pepper chicken and my wife had the sweet and sour. My chicken tasted like straight fish. It was horrible so I asked for padthai instead and it was even worse. Tasted and smelt like wet dog food literally. I was extremely disappointed and unfortunately will never return

Friendly staff and great food 5/5 would recommenced

Had a pad thai and was really disappointed. The portion was small for $12 and lacking the essential pad thai flavor that makes the dish what it is. There are other locations that have much better quality for the same price or even cheaper. I would look to other locations before trying this one.

Ordered beef and broccoli first time and probably will give them one more try because there the only thai place around my job but the broccoli smelled strong like rotten almost the beef lacked flavor the dish was ok nothing special Thai food suppose to be explosion of flavor this lacked all that I will go back to try the pad thai if no good then I wont even bother with it..

We love fried tofu with mixed vegetables, pad Thai, pork basil sauce, and fried rice. This restaurant is also kids friendly. My kids love their salad with peanut sauce, and fried rice. If you love vegetables, I recommended stir fried mixed vegetables.

I ordered chicken fried rice to go... when i got home with it.. it looked they took white rice and just added the soy sauce to make it look like fried rice. It was wasted money.. Bangkok Cafe you have to do better, don't water down your Thai food. Alot of us have been to Thailand and know what to expect. Don't think people here dont know the difference... shame on you. If the cook doesnt know how to cook correctly or is just lazy then you have to correct the problem. Dont let bad cooking ruin your restaurant.

It been such a long time that we used to eat at this restaurant. Now we have opportunity to come back to this area and have a chance to have dinner at this restaurant. The food still great as it used to be. We did enjoy our food and have a great time here. The waiters are friendly and polite. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in this area.

I absolutely love Bangkok Cafe. This is authentic Thai food and actually the restaurant that got me hooked on Thai Food! The service is excellent. Will always be one of my favorite Thai restaurants in South Florida.

Very inexpensive for lunch. Delicious Tom Kha. Selection of veggies in all dishes is pedestrian (white cabbage, carrot, zucchini, white mushroom, baby corn, red bell pepper - nothing unique or Asian) but hearty. The seasoning in entrees is rather bland. Pepper is not seasoning. Whereas the Tom Kha had pronounced galanga and lemongrass, our curries were overwhelmed by the coconut milk and required pepper to make them palatable. There are few Thai options on this side of town. All in all, this place is a hearty and reliable place for Thai 'ish flavours at good prices.

Simply Awesome! Great service and food, Garlic and pepper whole fried fish at medium come out crunchy and delicious with a white rice bowl. Owners there daughter and the server do a good job.

Food is great... prices are reasonable... staff is polite... service is super fast... lunch break can be in and out in 35 mins... soup, salad, and meal for under 10$

The service was cordial but not overbearing and the portions and taste were just right. The soup was a little disappointing as it could have had more filler but the broth was clear and light. I would go back if in the area again.
